PingPong

Ping Dim Sum CHINATOWN Washington, DC

Ping Pong restaurant is a modern take on a very ancient Chinese tradition – the Tea House. Hundreds of years ago, merchants on the Silk Road would stop at tea houses enroute to rest their weary feet, relax and drink tea with their fellow travelers and share Dim Sum – baskets and dishes of little sweet and savory snacks, usually steamed, baked or fried. Ping Pong may be a Twenty-First Century Tea House, but we’ve kept all the best bits of that ancient tradition, like meeting to relax and share appetizing food and fragrant tea. We just thought that after the first thousand years or so it would be OK to add cocktails to the menu.

Two glimmering bars serve as the perfect backdrop for the sumptuous pastries within and at night transform into a provocative atmosphere where tantalizing cocktails are served.
